Faculty Reading Groups & Book Clubs

Interested in joining a community engaged with the relevant literature of inclusive pedagogy, and the historical intersections of gender, race, and identity with STEM culture? Our first book group discussed the work of our Fall 2020 speaker, Ruha Benjamin. In fall 2021, we considered Pedagogy of the Oppressed, and in spring 2022 we read bell hooks’s Teaching to Transgress.
