The Hanson Center works to advance both our practices and our understanding of inclusion and equity in STEM.

Lafayette’s Daniel and Heidi Hanson ’91 Center for Inclusive STEM Education is a hub for community and collaboration, coordinating support for students and faculty in STEM with excluded identities, faculty development of inclusive pedagogies and curricula, and faculty research in inclusive education and STEM studies.

Highlights

  • The Hanson Center partners with CITLS to offer opportunities for faculty to develop and assess inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Integrating STEM Studies (STS) perspectives in STEM education and our understanding of the culture of STEM
